Deb Cunningham - President


Deb is a Senior Legal Assistant in the Real Estate and Development Unit of the Philadelphia Law Department, assisting City Department clients and attorneys through all of the real estate transactions involving the City of Philadelphia. She received her paralegal degree and eDiscovery certification from the Community College of Philadelphia. Deb serves on both the Philadelphia Law Department's Professional Development Committee and the Philadelphia Bar Association's Fraudulent Conveyance Task Force.




Linda Lammendola—Vice President

Linda Lammendola is currently a docketing analyst at Blank Rome.  She formerly was a paralegal at the law firm of White and Williams LLP concentrating in the areas of commercial insurance litigation and reinsurance matters.  She was previously a paralegal for over 20 years at the law firm of  Christie, Pabarue, Mortensen and Young, now Christie and Young, PC.  Ms. Lammendola received her Bachelor and a Master of Liberal Arts degrees from Temple University.  She obtained her Pa.C.P distinction in July of 2010 from the Keystone Alliance of Paralegal Associations in the State of Pennsylvania. 

Ms. Lammendola is currently a Member of the Peirce College Advisory Board for Legal Studies and a former elected member of the Board of the Peirce College Alumni Association (May 2014 through May 2017).  Linda is currently a board member of The Philadelphia Association of Paralegals as First Vice President and Primary Representative for Keystone Alliance.  Since April 2016, Linda is a member of the Women in eDiscovery Philadelphia Chapter.  Linda has also recently became a member of The National Docketing Association.  



Crystal Gardner, Pa.C.P. - Secretary


Crystal is a certified litigation paralegal in the Office of General Counsel at Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (aka SEPTA) assisting trial attorneys in protecting and defending SEPTA against claims and lawsuits arising out of alleged personal injury matters. She has an extensive legal background throughout the legal community. Crystal is also a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and an alumni of Peirce College with an Associate Degree and a Bachelor of Science (Paralegal Studies 2007 and 2011). In November 2018 Crystal obtained her Pa.C.P. from Keystone Alliance of Paralegal Associations in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.


Crystal is the recipient of 2 awards in her tenure at SEPTA: recognition of team accomplishments of completion of three (3) jury trials within 30 days; each with favorable results, and a

Certificate of Excellence in honor of Women's Month, awarded for her professionalism, skill, tenacity, substantial and positive difference to the Authority, as well as being a woman who

exemplifies a passion for work, inspires people, and embodies the strength of the organization.


A member of the Philadelphia Association of Paralegals since 2011, Crystal attends lunch and learns with PAP as well as the PBA to receive up-to-date training and to engage with other paralegals

within the legal community. Crystal believes that the paralegal profession has evolved into a growing industry and that the demand for paralegals is on the rise. She looks forward to bringing her skills, knowledge, and ideas to the Association and to encourage her colleagues and assist those that are interested in the profession.

Janice Trout, Pa.C.P.—Treasurer 

Janice C. Trout is a senior litigation paralegal at the Offit Kurman, P.A. firm, assisting attorneys with mass tort and commercial litigation claims. She attended Shippensburg University and she received her Pa.C.P. from the Keystone Alliance of Paralegal Associations in 2012. Janice has 30 years of legal experience.

Janice currently serves as the Programs Committee chair for the Philadelphia Association of Paralegals.

Janice has significant experience in Mass Tort litigation, particularly asbestos defense litigation, serving as National Coordinating Counsel for a Fortune 200 Company. She also has experience in commercial litigation where she has prepared for and participated in mediations and prepared for trial. She is highly skilled at managing case tracking databases, organizing and maintaining large document cases and has also performed risk management assessment and local counsel bill review for various clients with litigation nationwide.

 

Lyndora Patterson Tiller—Board Consultant

Lyndora Patterson Tiller is a Senior Paralegal Specialist in the Litigation Practice Group at Independence Blue Cross, LLC, assisting attorneys in employment law, immigration, insurance and litigation matters. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from Widener University, paralegal certificate from Main Line Paralegal Institute and has over 25 years of legal experience. Lyndora is a member of Sigma Tau Delta, an International English Honor Society and her name appears in the edition of Who’s Who Among Students in American Universities and Colleges. Ms. Patterson Tiller has been a member of The Philadelphia Association of Paralegals since 2001. She is also a Notary Public for the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

Ms. Patterson Tiller currently serves as Board Consultant on the  Board of Directors of The Philadelphia Association of Paralegals, as well as Chair of the Education Committee and Co-Chair of the Professional Development Committee. In addition, she sits on Delaware County Community College’s Paralegal Advisory Board.  

In previous years, Ms. Patterson Tiller was a member of PAP’s Litigation, Immigration, Medical Legal and Professional Development Committees. She also served as President, Secretary, and Assistant Secretary to the Board of Directors, co- chaired the Education Committee and is a Past President. In 2010, Lyndora was honored with a special award for her two terms of service as PAP’s President from 2008-2009 "in grateful appreciation for her outstanding, significant contributions as President of The Philadelphia Association of Paralegals. " She served as an ex-officio member of the Board of Governors of the Philadelphia Bar Association from 2008-2009 and received an award for invaluable and dedicated service to the Philadelphia Bar Association’s Board of Governors. Ms. Patterson Tiller has been published in The Philadelphia Association of Paralegals’ newsletter, The Philadelphia Forum, and The Legal Intelligencer. She has also served as a panelist for paralegal events at Peirce College and Widener University.


Alyson D. Poppiti, DCP - Board Member

Alyson received her B.A. in Political Science from Marshall University in Huntington, West Virginia and her paralegal certificate from Widener University School of Law, Legal Education Institute.  She is currently a corporate paralegal with Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP since 2005.  Prior to her work at Morris, Nichols, Arsht & Tunnell LLP she worked at CT Corporation System for five years.  She is also the tennis captain of the 3.5 Sets in the City USTA tennis league team.  She has worked as the Head Hospitality Coordinator at Cornell’s Adult University coordinating all of the meals and events for the summer alumni program.  Due to the fact that her father, Howard K. Tuck, Ph.D. ran for U.S. Congress for the 1st Representative District of West Virginia in 1988 and 1990, she has always been very active in Republican politics.  She was the Regional Finance Representative on the Forbes’ 2000 Presidential Campaign.  Not only did she raise $50,000 for the Steve Forbes’ Presidential Campaign through telephone solicitations but she also coordinated phone banks in Sioux City, Iowa and Keene, New Hampshire.  She then was the Fundraising Coordinator for the Terry Spence for Governor Campaign (2000) and has assisted in coordinating the political campaigns of Congressman Michael N. Castle (1998), Mike Ramone for New Castle County President (2000), J. Dallas Winslow for State Senate (2002)   Paul Pomeroy for the 23rd Representative District (2004), and for Thomas Kovach, Esq. (2008, 2010) for 6th Representative District.  Alyson has held the following positions with the Delaware Paralegal Association:  Programs Director from 2006-2008, the Vice President of DPA from 2008-2010, President from 2011-2013 and from 2015-2016, and National Affairs Director in 2014. Alyson became a member of the Philadelphia Association of Paralegals in January 2017.
